Folklore 111: Hon, the Young Scholar
Hon grew in a mountain village where books offered more distant horizons than the roads. He read whatever texts had survived, usually alone and sometimes beside a single friend named Spud.
His ambition was direct and impossible: collect every ancient text scattered across the world and use them to discover what had truly happened.
Hon entered Mount Hua’s record without office or grand deed. He mattered because every archive begins with someone young enough to believe that no page is beyond recovery.
