Folklore 114: The Sandwalker

The Sandwalker slept beneath rock, water, and sand for years without number. When changing land transformed ocean into desert, the earth brought her to the surface.

She woke without name, origin, or explanation. Solaris knew her only by the tracks she left while searching for answers.

Some claimed she was an ancient person preserved below the sea. Others called her a body made by the land itself. She offered no theory. She walked because every horizon might contain the first true fact of her life.
