Folklore 123: The Great Cobblestone Scientist

The Great Cobblestone Scientist claimed no remembered personal name and no birthplace in this world. Accounts place his origin upon another moon.

Stranded in Mount Hua, he applied an unearthly mind to ordinary stone, resources, defenses, and improbable machines. He called himself master of nothing, yet proved useful wherever one discipline alone was insufficient.

His ambition was peace supported by strength: use power to help the land, and guard it from those who would impose through force. Cobblestone was not his limitation. It was proof that common material, correctly understood, could become extraordinary.
