Folklore 124: Callista Terrafall

Callista died during the Sundering. An unnamed power returned her for the price of one future command that she would be unable to refuse.

She entered Toph as planner, gatherer, and builder, then became its first elected Earth Empress. Callista wanted the kingdom itself to prove what people could overcome together. Streets, halls, and laws were monuments before stone was ever decorated.

She told no citizen what waited behind her second life. Every public promise stood beneath a private one, and she did not know when its collector would arrive.
