Folklore 128: Braylen, the Rarefinder
Braylen knew war before he knew peace. Victory left him with skill, scars, and no desire to keep fighting.
He turned toward the mines, where iron, gems, relics, and quiet labor offered a different measure of worth. Rare discoveries drew traders and adventurers, but Braylen preferred Mount Hua’s solitude and chose clients carefully.
He renounced battle without forgetting the axe. The mountains became home, and his old wrath slept lightly whenever danger approached them.
