Folklore 008: The Lucid Banner
The Lucid Order entered the records after the Five had already begun rebuilding. It carried memories of shattered crowns, crusading years, betrayal, and a brotherhood reforged after ruin.
The Order did not claim a place among the Five. It arrived as a neutral sixth power, bearing its own discipline and its own history. Some welcomed another shield against the Wilderness. Others wondered whether neutrality was a bridge or merely a patient kind of ambition.
Its banner added a new question to Harmonium: could Elarion contain peoples who belonged to its civilization without belonging to one of its territories? No surviving decree settled the matter. The Lucid Order simply remained, trading, speaking, and watching.
Modern archivists treat its arrival as the first sign that Elarion might become larger than the Five that founded it.
